lyrics
you're the master, you've got it made
aren't you thankful for your domain?
the weather just keeps getting better and better and better
you've got it coming, you've got it coming
it's the next logical step
you're the bait and the trap's been set
and i hate to be the bearer of what's coming next but
you've got it coming, you've got it coming
and the clock stopped ticking a long long long long time ago
a slight adjustment to your age
and a slight spelling change to your name
yeah this life's been a bit of a chore but
you've got it coming, you've got it coming
your new kleptocratic overlords
would like to wish you the best of luck in your new life
so please accept their warmest wishes
you've got it coming, you've got it coming
and the clock stopped ticking a long long long long time ago
the guidance system has been disabled
but you can still hear the missiles howling
so whenever disaster commences
you had it coming, you had it coming
we're all equal in the eyes of god
but that god died a long time ago
so please accept his condolences but
you've got it coming, you've got it coming
you've got it coming, you've got it coming
you've got it coming
and the clock stopped ticking a long long long long time ago

I passed this album up when it first came out after a brief skim, which was a huge mistake. I was a massive Vulf fan, but at the time I was too swamped with other stuff to give this a fair listen. While I got past dating nearly a decade ago, most of these songs just go hard in a fun way. Plain Jane Heroin though, that touches some real trauma in a real way and I love him for it. So glad I got to see him live and convince me to go back lol. smv_
